NOVEMBER 15, 2022 | BY: LORI SLY

Our Destinate Team is built around 200+ years of experience among our group of consultants and over 17 million dollars in funding granted to our clients through provincial and federal grant programs for destination development.

Meet Todd Brandt. With 22 years of direct destination management experience as the President & CEO of Tourism Saskatoon (Now, Discover Saskatoon), Todd provides expert-level strategic development, bringing in tourism industry best practices from his long-standing career in the industry.

As a husband, father and grandfather, Todd lives in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and gets out to his cabin at Emerald Lake as often as he can. He volunteers regularly at the Emerald Lake Golf Course and sits on the Saskatoon Airport Authority Board.

Todd was recognized with the 2020 Lifetime Achievement Award by the Tourism Industry Association of Canada (TIAC).

Todd also spent 14 years with a conservation agency, the Meewasin Valley Authority, where he led community education, corporate communications, and public engagement. This included the constant, and often difficult, interplay of interactions between developers, the city, province, and conservationists in projects affecting the Meewasin Valley both in and outside Saskatoon.

In his position as a professional consultant with Destinate Group, Todd brings executive experience in driving the visitor economy through the attraction of international and national conventions, sporting events, leisure marketing, media, and trade. His direct experience provides valuable insight in coordinating engagements between civic Council, administration and the tourism industry.
