With certifications in psychology, professional writing for marketing and public relations, and user experience (UX) design, Jess has a robust skillset that helps her support clients in crafting meaningful and seamless experiences.
A social scientist, Jess understands the importance of strategy and planning, balancing these against authentic human connection. A cornerstone of her practice involves applying the principles of design thinking and cognitive and social psychology to engage and involve communities in creative problem solving.
Jess is a Master’s candidate with the University of Saskatchewan’s interdisciplinary Culture, Health, and Human Development program. Her research focuses on the individual and community health benefits of experiential learning and participation in the arts, culture, and other play-based activities. In addition to her own artistic practice, Jess served on the steering committee for Nuit Blanche Saskatoon and considers herself an active culture-goer, ally, and advocate.
